Once again one must gain the proper education, gain experience by working at internships, going through IDEP and then completing the NCIDQ exam. Before this class I had never heard of IDEP but, it is a Interior Design Experience Program that monitors and document experience that is monitored by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) for entry-level interior designers. When preparing to take the NCIDQ exam one should take the interest in setting aside a great deal of money. It cost $1,065 to complete the exam to become certified.
